Welcome and thanks for stopping by. As many of you know, my Cooking Up Love project was inspired by friends and family who - like me - had very little experience cooking. I struggled for years to learn the basics and gain the confidence to start experimenting on my own. Through books and classes, many long distance calls home and thousands of meals, I finally started becoming successful in the kitchen. Now I'm an accomplished cook and have the opportunity to share my experiences, knowledge and shortcuts - along with our favorite recipes - with young men and women across the country through Cooking Up Love.

I live in Los Angeles, California with my husband and young son. With childhoods spent in Michigan and Texas, we perhaps most enjoy the predictably consistent 70-degree weather. We enjoy exploring the neighborhoods that make up Los Angeles and celebrating each day with our family and friends.
