| Main Dish Recipes - Baked Brie Serves 2 Preparation Time Involved: 10 minutes The brie will melt within the phyllo dough crust, combining with the filling you choose. Serve this heavenly spread with crackers or crusty bread.
Directions Place 4 sheets of phyllo dough in the middle of the pan. Place the brie in the middle of the pastry and top with sundried tomatoes and garlic. Brush pastry layers with melted butter using the basting brush. Place the sundried tomatoes and crushed garlic cloves on top of the brie and gather the phyllo dough up, like you are wrapping a present. Brush the outside of the phyllo dough with the egg. This will make the outside crispy. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Try it another way! If you don't have phyllo dough, you can also use a container of refrigerated crescent rolls, pressing the perforated rolls into one sheet of dough. You may need to adjust the cooking time slightly to ensure the dough cooks all the way through. |
