| Breakfast Recipes - Sleepover Cinnamon French Toast Serves 2 Preparation Time Involved: 10 minutes Make this luscious treat the night before and it can be cooking away while you make yourself pretty in the morning.
Directions In a medium sized mixing bowl, beat the eggs. Mix in the cream, melted butter and maple syrup. Pour this mixture over the top of the bread and raisins and cover with aluminum foil, pressing down to make sure all bread cubes are covered. Refrigerate overnight. In the morning, preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Bake the mixture for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and cook for 5 - 10 more minutes, until the top gets a nice golden color. Remove from oven and let sit for 10 minutes. Serve with maple syrup and - if you dare - a scoop of rich vanilla ice cream on top! |
